I have made sculptures in various media throughout my career. Most rely on the additive/subtractive nature of collaging; uniting a variety of forms and materials and suggesting new interpretations from the juxtaposition of these common ‘found’ objects.
Some sculptures are in fact line drawings in steel. Others are more traditionally three-dimensional. As with the assemblages, their creation begins with one piece ‘talking’ to another and the conversation continues until the idea is complete.
