I have been exhibiting my work since 1976 and have been represented by galleries in Toronto, New York, Calgary and Montreal.
At this point in my career, I have come to realize that everything that I do is determined by the balance I have sought in my life and the realization of what I call
The Romantic Modernist's Dilemma: Balancing Beauty and the Sublime.
Simply put, art needs to be alive in the present - when you look at it. It should evoke pleasure. It is a physical expression of mind and spirit.
Let yourself be drawn in, perhaps by the colour, or the texture, or the balance of the composition.
