Assemblages
These 3D mixed media boxes are composed of fascinating pieces that I have collected over the years – pieces of 100-year-old books, painting materials, elements from nature or objets d’art. Many of the pieces were originally assembled for my Still Life Photographs while some are more recent finds.
My inspiration for each box begins when diverse pieces begin ‘talking’ to each other, and builds from there, eventually creating a unified whole. I enjoy the stories that these collections begin to tell – a unique diorama to be discovered.
