The Reach Beyond Mystery is part of a series of mixed media sculptures and paintings that deal with the transition in our lives. The ages-old stone base and the very expressively weathered wood stretch against the forces of nature. The ladder reaches up and the partial torso, a gift of nature, both add a human element to the work about life evolving to its natural resolution.
