This piece includes a number of diverse elements, which together demonstrate the key elements of life and of living. The pitchfork and the backbone-like armature denote the physical structure of an organism. The house can be interpreted as architecture, intellect and home. The hammer suggests the building of key aspects of one’s life. And lastly, the tube of paint, expired but showing the remnants of a colourful life is itself a tribute to a life well-lived.
