There is a slight metallic glow to the cherry red background in this piece. The abundant off-white brushstrokes caress the surface of the canvas. Amongst the overall patterning of sinuous abstract forms, several lily pads, reeds, a heart and a cloud can be distinguished. The collaged torsos at the side edges as well as the triangles at the bottom, hold the composition on the canvas.
