Iconic, Ironic Double Exposure

This double exposure was a ‘happy accident’. Ironically the painting in the background is called ‘I Keep Trying to Forget’ and clearly, I forgot that I had already exposed the film when I set up a new piece and photographed it. Fortunately, the second composition is similar enough to the first that they are echoes of each other, creating in my opinion, an even stronger final image.
