Half Buddha Blues was started in 2014 and I revised it in March 2019. I love the rich Prussian Blue and Dioxazine violet background. The collaged bits on the sides help to optically keep the energy within the picture. The oil paint/ palette collaged bit lends an intangible element to the emotional gravitas of the painting. I love the cloud, ever so slightly off center, it seems to shed light on the oil paint. I like the cloud elements as they are, to me, harbingers of change and allude to nature and lastly, I look at clouds every opportunity that I can.
